Friends at the Table

At the top of every episode, we say that “Friends at the Table is an Actual Play podcast about critical worldbuilding, smart characterization, and fun interaction between good friends.” But what’s that mean, and why do we need your help to do it?Well, just about every week for the last eight and half years, we’ve been using tabletop roleplaying games to tell the sorts of stories that we wanted to see in the world. Over hundreds of episodes, we’ve explored a fantasy post-post-apocalypse, fought over (and against) the stars, confronted heartbroken gods, walked the streets of surreal cities, cultivated galactic gardens, summoned cursed trains, and so much more.The only way we’ve been able to do all that has been with the support so many of you have given us over the years. You’ve helped us to buy new recording equipment, pay for instrument repairs, renew web services, and to pass our own support onto RPGs from creators old and new.&nbsp;But being a Patron doesn’t only help us make the regular show, it also gives us the extra wiggle room in our schedules and budgets to do a bunch of extra stuff too!
